The SONOR Primary SXP 2-1 Soprano Chromatic Add-On expands the SONOR Primary SXP 1-1 Soprano Xylophone into a fully chromatic instrument. With seven additional Pao Rosa wood bars and a dedicated resonator box, students can perform music beyond the C major scale while developing stronger music reading, harmony, and performance skills.

Unlock the full musical potential of your SONOR Primary Soprano Xylophone.

While a diatonic xylophone is an excellent starting point for beginning musicians, many classroom arrangements eventually require chromatic notes. The SONOR SXP 2-1 Chromatic Add-On provides the additional sharps and flats needed to perform a wider variety of songs, accompaniments, and classroom literature without replacing your existing instrument.

Why Teachers Choose the SXP 2-1 Chromatic Add-On

Adding chromatic bars allows students to explore more advanced melodies, richer harmonies, and music written in additional keys. Because the add-on is designed specifically for the SONOR Primary SXP 1-1 Soprano Xylophone, it integrates seamlessly into your classroom while preserving the same outstanding craftsmanship and sound quality.

• Expands the SONOR Primary SXP 1-1 into a chromatic instrument
• Makes more classroom repertoire playable
• Supports music reading and pitch recognition
• Natural note labels strengthen the connection between notation and keyboard layout
• Dedicated resonator box includes storage for F# and Bb bars from the diatonic instrument
• Perfect for growing Orff Schulwerk classrooms
