It is time to revolutionize fundamental skill practice while also motivating students to practice twice as much on average! This is NOT a play-along book. Rather, it is part of The Foundations Series, a living, breathing supplemental method that is constantly evolving and lives exclusively in MakeMusic Cloud. Harry Potter Foundations: Strings Book 1 addresses the critical skills students encounter in a typical beginning strings method, all while providing stunning movie soundtracks from Harry’s first two years at Hogwarts. Along with complete scores for all exercises, this book also includes curriculum text by expert pedagogue Annie Ray, winner of the Music Educator Award presented by the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum . All student exercises and accompaniments are available exclusively in MakeMusic Cloud and parts can be printed at no charge with a subscription—there are no hard-copy student parts available for purchase. Soundtracks are from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
