The Boss is back! The long-awaited follow-up to 1995’s ‘The Ghost Of Tom Joad’, ‘The Rising’ is also Bruce Springsteen’s first all-new studio recording with the E Street Band – keyboardist Roy Bittan, saxophonist Clarence Clemons, keyboardist Danny Federici, guitarist Nils Lofgren, singer Patti Scialfa, bassist Garry Tallent, guitarist Steven Van Zandt, drummer Max Weinberg – since 1984’s multi-platinum ‘Born In The USA’. Produced by Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, Train), and recorded this year at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta, GA, the album features 15 Springsteen originals – including a new version of ‘My City Of Ruins’, the song Springsteen contributed to the ‘America – A Tribute To Heroes’ benefit telecast.
