Thomastik DP02 Dominant Pro A Volin String – Aluminium

Violin 4/4 Vibrating String Length 32.5cm | 12.8″

Thomastik Dominant Pro for Violin builds upon the original Dominant series, offering modern enhancements while retaining the core attributes. Both Dominant and Dominant Pro strings share low tension, making them ideal for various instruments, whether old or new, without causing excessive strain. They offer superb modulation capacity, vibrant tonal color, excellent tuning stability, and responsive bow action.

The Dominant Pro A-string DP02 (5.5 kg) features aluminum winding and delivers a rich tonal core with slightly reduced metallic tones. It excels in sound projection and provides great modulation control, especially in soft dynamics like pianissimo (ppp). This string strikes a balance between brilliance and warmth, with excellent resistance to bow pressure. Paired with the E-string DP01, it creates an even broader and more vibrant sound.

Available in 4/4 size, medium gauge.
