Thomastik DP01AU Dominant Pro E Volin String – Gold Plated

Violin 4/4vibrating string length32.5cm | 12.8″

Thomastik Dominant Pro strings offer a modern expansion of the classic Dominant series, maintaining low string tension and versatility for both new and old instruments. Both series provide excellent sound modulation, vibrant tonal color, stable tuning, and responsive bow action.

The Dominant Pro DP01AU E-string (0.265 mm, 8.0 kg) delivers a warm yet brilliant tone and is highly resistant to corrosion. It offers excellent projection, making it ideal for orchestral and chamber music settings. However, if an instrument tends to whistle, the DP01 might be a better option. Care must be taken with fine tuners to prevent string breakage.

Available in 4/4 size, medium gauge.
