A jewel of Chopin’s art, effectively combining dramatic passages with outpourings of lyricism. Despite its virtuoso brilliance, it never overtaxes the pianist’s technique. This inexpensive volume is taken from Henle’s complete edition of the waltzes. Edited by Ewald Zimmermann with fingerings by Hans-Martin Theopold.
