Why Students & Teachers Love Essential Elements

Essential Elements isn’t simply a collection of songs. It’s a complete beginning string curriculum designed to develop well-rounded musicians. Students gradually build note-reading, rhythm, technique, tone, and ensemble skills without being overwhelmed by concepts introduced too quickly.

The method is especially effective in school orchestra programs because students learn together through carefully coordinated ensemble material while also receiving instrument-specific instruction written especially for the viola.
