USED tested
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.

Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

Ex KEPCO BOP 50-8M Bipolar Power Supply (functioning fine prior to dismantling)
The power supply in the KEPCO is a stock standard linear design with two large screw terminal filter capacitors. Sitting above the capacitors is this busbar, one continuous rail for the negative side and the other rail is for the positive of both capacitors, that is why there is a fibreglass insulating section joining this positive rail.
Screw terminals are built into the rails, using threaded holes along with Brass screws. Originally, Brass fork electrical connectors were used under these screws.
The holes for the capacitor terminals are not threaded and the screws are NOT supplied, you should already have them with your capacitors.
This rail was easily carrying 8 amps @ 50V on each side of the “positive rail” or 16 amps through the ground return (negative) rail. If you wish to push more current through these rails, the dimensions of the rails are below …

KEPCO – Power Supply Busbar (2)
Kepco part numbers are stamped into this metalware: 1720375GB1 1720376GB1 (positive rail) & 1720377GD1 (negative rail)
Although a part designed for KEPCO equipment, this is equally suitable for general high current, low voltage linear power supply use.
Material: I am not sure about this. It is light, like Aluminium but it has a yellowish tinge all over. It is too light for Copper or Brass so perhaps it is an alloy of some sort. I do know the screws are definitely Brass and the associated washers are Copper (for the screws)

DIMENSIONS:
All metal is 1.6mm thickness
Negative rail: 165mm Length x 22mm Wide
Positive rail: Overall length is identical to the negative rail (165mm) BUT constructed as two electrically isolated sections, each is 73mm in length with an isolating strip of fibreglass between the two metal sections, 20mm length. The width of this rail is greater than the negative rail at 26.5mm
Weight (including the Brass screws) is just 50g in total
