Fiddlin’ to Freedom begins with a spiritual-style introduction full of rich harmonies and melodic interest in all the parts except bass. There is plenty of scope for players to work at producing a warm, well-rounded tone. At letter C, the music breaks into a lively gospel-style tune that has a distinct ‘fiddlin’ flavour to it.
