Why We Made It

Auditions can be intimidatingespecially when a student really wants a particular role. Good preparation gives performers something productive to focus on besides the cast list.

This guide helps students answer a much better question than How do I make sure I get the role?

How do I give the best audition I’m capable of giving?

That means knowing the character, understanding the story, preparing intelligently, making clear acting choices, listening to direction, and walking into the room ready to perform.
