A Madrigal Operaby Philip Glass is scored for violin (viola) and six voices. It was written in 1979 and conceived as an abstract music theater work with no specifically prescribed theatrical content, apart from a clear emotional shape. This is the full score for soloist (violin/viola) and six voices.
