This HP test equipment accessory allows the user to add triggering on composite video signals to analog or digital scopes, spectrum analysers or other signal monitoring equipment.
Of course this was back in the days of composite ANALOG video signals
The manual specifically discusses the use of this accessory with oscilloscopes.
DC restoration is provided and a stable trigger is provided for most international standard broadcast signals (back in the late 80’s)
In keeping with the type of signals this accessory was to be used with, the bandwidth is 15Hz to 10Mhz ONLY
