The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own Sony equipment
How?
Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks “right” compared to your old remote – a bit hit & miss though.
Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have a Sony system but it does not mean this remote will control it.

JVC Camcorder SPARE PART
RetroUSED IR Remote control
GenuineJVC product NOT a 3rd party copyPart number: RM-V750U
This remote has a full range of expected camcorder functions and I believe this remote will suit these models:
GZHD10, GZHD5, GZHD3U, GZHD6 & GZHD7US and possibly others.
If you have a JVC Camcorder that you “think” the remote may work with, please do your homework and at least check these things
a) Visual inspection and comparison with an existing remote
b) Equipment manual (if you still have it)

Remote onlyClean
All buttons functioning greatBattery compartment is in excellent condition. The case & buttons are undamaged, this uses 1x CR2025 button batteryUsed but undamaged in any way – tested 100% functional
NOTE: My testing method is to insert battery and look for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct, I do not have every piece of equipment that these remotes control here at the house!
Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic to maintain its condition
The button battery will NOT be supplied (CR2025 which is readily available for around $2 retail) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum
