Ex workshop spare parts, time for me to find new owners of these components
BRAND NEW, Old Stock

Integrated circuit sockets are all the same, right? WRONG …
IC sockets come in many shapes, sizes, physical design, packaging and with different contact materials, it is important that you read the description below to establish if this is the type of socket you want.
One thing I do NOT have are MIL spec sockets, nor CDIP (Ceramic packages) – I had some nice ceramic packages with Gold plating for military equipment but those were very quickly “snapped up”

INTEGRATED CIRCUIT SOCKET (Plastic)
Machined
Commonly used in R&D and commercial PCB’s, superior pin contact when compared to single or double wipe “lower cost” sockets

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Supplied and stored by us in ESD tubes (to protect the pins)

These will be supplied in the same manner

*** Where the photograph shows multiple sockets, this advertisement is for ONE socket not all that are shown!
