Overview / Synopsis

Miss Nelson Is Missing is a funny, classroom-friendly 30-minute musical based on the beloved books Miss Nelson Is Missing and Miss Nelson Is Back by Harry Allard, illustrated by James Marshall.

Miss Nelsons class is the worst-behaved class in the whole school, with spitballs flying and paper airplanes soaring across the room. But when sweet Miss Nelson suddenly disappears and is replaced by the terrifying substitute Viola Swamp, Class 207 quickly learns that their behavior may have gone too far.

With a clever mystery, memorable school characters, and a story students already love, Miss Nelson Is Missing is a strong choice for elementary programs looking for a short, manageable musical with plenty of comic energy and flexible casting.
