Caroline Evans brings a refreshingly direct approach to the development of this vital musical skill.

Each exercise takes as its starting point TRaK Time, Rhythm and Key. Helpful and imaginative guidance encourages the student to meet the various practical and interpretative challenges introduced in each new piece.

Right@Sightwill help to develop and improve the very important skill of sight-reading at the piano, providing a structured approach and opportunities for regular practice. Hints are provided for the earlier pieces of each book to focus attention on notation, form, interpretation and technique. Suggestions to sight-sing phrases are included to promote aural awareness while playing.

Conveniently presented in 8 progressive volumes corresponding to examination grades, Right@Sight is the only sight-reading course you are likely to need.

Becoming a good sight-reader demands daily practice. Regular “exercise” with Right at Sight will prepare students to tackle whatever music they may want to play.
