REGGAE MASTERS – Self Titled (Fatbox Set)Rajon Music
Cat# RMGSD0070
2001
Australian releaseFatbox CD case, front cover, internal booklet and rear insert are all in very good condition
All three CD media are in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO scratches or marks on CD 2 & 3. CD 1 has a very light, small mark near the outer edge. I then played the ENTIRE release, every CD and every single track, and there are NO issues with playback at all ***
*** I did need to check and recheck CD 1, the last track (Wild World by The Blues Busters) because at two spots in the song (1:54 & 2:49) there is a very short pause (silence) when singing the line “I’ll always remember you …” just before the word I’ll
I checked the player time display, nothing strange there and also looked at the BLER rate coming off the CD datastream, nothing out of the ordinary. I must assume these two spots of very short silence are from the original recording (this pause occurs at exactly the same part of the lyrics both times) and not the media causing the player to “blank” the audio output.
No other strange events on any other part of CD 1 or CD’s 2 & 3
