If you are really serious about your electronics, whether you are a professional or hobbyist, a good library of electronic magazines is a must have.

Why are these magazines a ‘must-have’?
Wealth of design and concept ideas
Interesting news in the world of electronics, although “old news”
Keeping up to date (or looking backwards at how things used to be done)
Circuit design concepts (see the approaches that others have used to create a new design or solve a problem)
Projects to build, just for fun
Nostalgic advertisements! Oh my, lots of these – some of the gear is now so dated or the companies themselves have disappeared into the “mists of time”

ELECTRONICS WORLD(UK) is a monthly magazine that often had excellent articles and design ideas, projects to build. Used to set the bank back a bit though, these were all imported and cost a small fortune at the local newsagents (when they finally arrived!)
