Thomastik DP03 Dominant Pro D Volin String – Aluminium

Violin 4/4vibrating string length32.5cm | 12.8″

Thomastik Dominant Pro strings for violin are an expansion of the original Dominant series, designed to provide contemporary players with additional tonal options while maintaining the essential qualities of the classic Dominant strings.

Both series share low string tensions, making them suitable for various instruments without causing excessive strain. They offer excellent sound modulation, rich tonal color, good tuning stability, and responsive bow action.

The Dominant Pro DP03 aluminum-wound D-string (4.6 kg) is ideal for musicians who prefer a thicker string. It provides increased brilliance, projection, and a more direct response, with a slightly coarser bow noise compared to the thinner DP03A. This makes it a great choice for players seeking a thicker string feel and enhanced projection.

Available in 4/4 size, medium gauge.
