Tilmann Dehnhard’s publications of easy original pieces with CD have been highly successful for other instruments. Developing clarinettists can now enjoy playing these pieces and benefitting from the advice of this successful and talented jazz musician. Notes and explanations are provided on swing rhythm, off-beat articulation and other conventions encountered in the playing of jazz. Each piece is presented on the CD in three versions: two full recordings at differing tempi for playing-along and a version providing the accompaniment only for playing-along with full confidence.
