Leading concert violinist and recording artist Rachel Barton Pine considers the Wohlfahrt studies to be an early and essential piece of the student’s progressive repertoire, and augments the Wohlfahrt with her own insights, extended bowing suggestions, dynamics, and advice on approaching the Foundation Studies. Included with this beautiful new edition is a D VD, featuring all Etudes performed by Matthew Lipman, as well as listening tracks (MP3) for all. The Wohlfahrt Foundation Studies is now ready to help the next generation of violists on the road to concert music.
