Keith Sharp’s affinity with song is evident in this delightful contemporary title. The writing is highly idiomatic and attractive to play. It displays vocal fluency in the ease of first position, D major. It’s song form and textures include echo effects (antiphonal call and response) and lyrical obligato lines. As always, the parts are engaging, thoughtfully edited and suitable for elementary players.
